Grab some cookies, a cup of tea and a comfy blanket before your proceed.
Returned from a 3 days 2 nights trip to Wilsons Prom last night about 9ish.
I won't go into every single detail about what we did. But the trip was awesome. A very very good break away from the busy-ness of the city, the boring buildings, noisy trams and routined life.
Left the city at like 8am and spent a lot of time on the road. The drive to Wilsons Prom is only approx 2 hours but we reached at like..5pm. Stopped a lot along the way, for pretty sceneries, lunch, toilet breaks and what not. We decided to stop along the way because we thought might as well since there wasn't gonna be much to do when we reach our accomodation anyway since we only planned to do the walks at Wilsons Prom the next day.
The endless bags of snacks that eventually amounted to about 250 bucks.
Yes Spider Ray, that was cool. =.=
The bus ride.
On the way to the vineyard.

Serenity.

No idea what Spider Ray was lookin' at.

At the winery.

One of the many tranquil sceneries.

Say hi to the sheeps in the background.

Our wheels throughout the trip, through Oakley lenses of Greg's.

The sexy fireplace Greg was totally obsessed with, I swear. But it kept us warm and the place cosy.

Awwwwwww. :)

The poker night that ended about 2ish in the morning. Surviving two: Raymond and I. Poor Spider Ray had to play until I lost. :( And of course, who can forget the banker, Hao Rui. Haha sorry about all that shuffling. :P

Squeaky Beach @ Wilsons Prom.

Reeeeeeeeeeeally awesome background. We were all so fascinated.

Picture perfect up on one of the million rocks at Squeaky Beach.

Iluka Cottage in a very secluded area.
Blogger's being a pain in the ass, and I'm too damn impatient to wait for it to load more pics. I have like a million other photos in the folder but, nawp, sorry. Probably one fine day, when I have absolutely nothing to do, the pictures will come up. Not anytime soon though, I have two major major assignments due and four papers in less than four weeks. One reason why it was sad when our trip came to an end. That meant the beginning of late nights and mugging for me. And I perhaps am speaking for the rest of us. :( Yeah really, it was bittersweet for me to be back in the city with boring buildings, trams and no greenery. :( And the thought of assignments, exams and burning the midnight oil is not exactly helping either. But on the brighter side, I'll be done with my first year of uni in about 5 weeks. You could say it's a mixture of comfort and fear.
The trip ended with a really nice albeit pricey dinner at
Doyles in Mordialloc.

I had veal with strips of bacon and mushroom, cooked to perfection in white wine and cream, with sides of mashed potato and long beans. 'Yuummm' was all I could say. The cheesecake Greg and Vivien ordered was really yummy too. Very rich in cheese. Damn kao cheese taste, topped with strawberries and ice cream by the side. This place is recommended lah.

Oh just a picture of our driver, Jon Stapleton and the group. He was one super patient and humorous fella. Made the journey a lot more enjoyable.

Two lil' girls are Amy, 8 and Lauren, 10, both of whom are daughters of Jon's friend, who owns a dairy farm that we visited on our way back to Melbourne.

This deserves a place somewhere on my blog la. The cheesecake that the very very nice Maisy made. :) I hope your finger gets better or heal completely very very soon so I don't have to feel weak and you on the other hand, feel so OKAY, everytime I see it. :(
forever and a day
Rating: 9.5/10
Because perfection is inexistant.
OMG, I can't believe this bloody post took me almost 2 freaking hours. And I've promised to reduce swearing. :)

Sorry folks, I know I owe a lot of you 'thankyous' in the form of text messages. I couldn't reply every single one who smsed me because I was recovering from a hang over. :)
Yes so I've turned to an alcoholic nineteen by the group here in Melbourne on the 7th of September. They decided to do a pre celebration apparently since the 9th fell on a Sunday. Events that happened beyond the point I was drunk (courtesy of the group led by Gregory Tan Yuun Tatt) will be left unsaid and within the four walls where it took place. Grins.
Thank you for your wishes before, during and after my nineteenth.

Tried uploading pics but blogger's slower than my grandma.
So thanks you guys here, for the traditional cake, alcohol and chips bash ('party' sounds like a kid).
Here's a
big fat huge ass THANK YOU
to Greg, Viv and Giu for keeping me under control and for guarding me during the 'not so controllable' post alcohol moments and Daniel sort of carrying me to my doorstep.
Here's also a
big fat huge ass SORRY
to every single one who received slaps from the drunkard Yours Truly. :P I cannot stress enough that I'm totally
NOT
an angry drunk. :)
Saturday night was spent at a French restaurant on Kings St called Bergerac, organized by my two amazing financial supporters here in Melb and joined by Mel, Paul and Bryan! :) Food was awesome. Waiter was a French who couldn't stop staring at us, just for humour. Was a pity no pictures were taken, cameras were forgotten. For desserts, Paul ordered Bomb Alaska, which is the alcohol induced egg white with some other thingys that is served by pouring flame over the dessert. Some flame fell on Mel's jeans and the waitress was like "don't worry, only 2 seconds".
Actual birthday night was a bit depressing. Dinner at Dessert House but later became better at home. Upon coming out of the shower, three lighted cakes were awaiting me on the coffee table. :D :D One from work and two from two sisters. Good shite.
Late for Logistics tute, scooting off.
